The Wollemi is one of the largest areas of remote wilderness in Australia, and this magnificent walk gives you the chance to explore this unique and varried environment. Explore spectacular rock pagodas, discover migrating birds, and see plants not found anwhere else in the world. A great day out for anyone looking at exploring this breathtaking wilderness well away from large groups on the walking tracks around Katoomba.  Your guide will share local secrets and interpret the unique environment. You’ll learn about the history of the Newnes Shale Oil Works (now grown over by forest), and even visit the famous Glow Worm Tunnel on the old newness railway.
