Intermediate Navigation Course
For those who have already understand the basics of navigation like how to use a map (eg features of a map, map orientation, grid references, land features etc) and how to use a compass (e.g. magnetic variation, bearings, measuring distance, etc). The Intermediate Navigation Course starts with a quick refresher then dives into more detail on topics such as feature recognition, route planning, solving common problems, how to estimate distance (bearings and timing) and introducing some more complex tools. We also head into some more navigationally challenging terrain to test your skills. You will be provided with all necessary equipment and a great lunch.
