Advanced Abseil Training Course
Our Advanced Abseiling course is an excellent way to move towards becoming an independent abseiling adventurer. The course is offered over two days in a beautiful bush setting ideal for practising these skills. All equipment is provided,along with lunch and expert instruction.

Topics covered include:

• Use, care and selection of equipment
• Selection and setting up anchors, Use of rope protection
• Knots and Prussiking (ascent using prussik slings)
• Safety procedures and Rope retrieval
• Selection and use of different descenders
• Self rescue, Self belay, Ascending the rope using mechanical ascenders
• Passing knots on abseil, Locking-off on abseil
• Rope handling, rigging and coiling
